  • Support a high-performing team by delivering timely, accurate data and insights.
  • Demonstrate ownership of your work through attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (analytics, retail, partner teams) to help ensure alignment on goals and insights.
  • Embrace a high standard for quality, consistency, and professionalism in all reporting and communications.
  • Participate in meetings and contribute ideas that push the team forward, even as an intern.
  • Monitor the sports and retail landscape daily, synthesizing industry updates and spotting trends or whitespace.
  • Help develop smarter, more scalable tools for reporting and data analysis.
  • Collaborate on special projects that test new ideas, processes, or market opportunities.
  • Build the foundation for strategic decision-making by simplifying large datasets into clear insights.
  • Support projects that drive Fanatics’ expansion in physical retail or untapped partner categories.
  • Help ensure partner-facing reports are built with the highest level of precision and polish — every data point, chart, and narrative matters.
  • Contribute to insights that ultimately shape Fanatics’ decisions about product, assortment, and partner performance — all of which directly impact the fan experience.
  • Analyze what’s working (or not) in Fanatics' digital and physical retail strategies and bring forward recommendations based on the data.
  • Maintain rigor in identifying underlying trends vs. surface-level takeaways in reporting.

what you bring to the team:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Management, Sports Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited 4-year college or university.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.5.
  • Proactive, hard-working, intellectually curious, and analytical
  • An organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on quality of results.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/timelines simultaneously; resolve problems quickly.
  • Comfortable working with all employee levels, from executives to warehouse associates.
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate on project progression and barriers to completion
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel products
  • Familiarity with the licensing industry and terminology
  • Familiarity with legal documents, terminology, and processes
  • Passion for retail and consumer products

Where You’ll Work and What’s required:

  • This internship is hourly paid, part-time position, requiring 15-20 hours per week, and will take place from September – December.
  • Intern will need to be on-site at the Atlanta, GA location.
