Department & Function:

Drug Metabolism and pharmacokinetics (DMPK-BA) - DMPK-BA scientists work within a matrix environment to identify molecules with the best chemical properties to target a specific disease. Scientists work in a collaborative cross-functional environment to understand the metabolism, excretion and pharmacokinetic properties of each candidate therapeutic.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Flow cytometry (FACS) panel design and optimization to support clinical trial needs 
  • Work as part of a highly collaborative interdisciplinary team in an integrated research laboratory
  • Conduct laboratory studies in support of biomarker/diagnostic strategy development and execution of individual immune-oncology and immunology R&D projects
  • Design, implement and biomarker for use in oncology clinical trials

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in university pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a laboratory science (Immunology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry) or other related field
  • Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship
  • Junior or senior in college
  • Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic wet lab experience
  • Elementary understanding of flow cytometry
