This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as an Application Developer intern within State Street’s Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. What You Will Do:    

In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities: 

• Support production systems to ensure business continuity 

• Provide post-production support and maintenance 

• Develop secure applications for Enterprise Risk Management using Java and Oracle 

• Deploy services to cloud environments 

• Build and manage databases using diverse technologies 

• Create responsive user interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular 

• Write unit and integration tests 

• Participate in code reviews 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage dependencies, identify risks, and deliver solutions 

• Contribute to application development, integration, and testing to meet business requirements

Education and Preferred Qualifications:  

Candidates should be:  

• Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees Computer Science or related technical disciplines who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation 

• Enthusiastic about building a long-term career in a dynamic, technology-driven organization 

• Effective communicators with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment 

• Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and improvement 

• Motivated by real-world problem solving and eager to contribute innovative ideas

Salary Range:

$41,600 - $65,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
