We are seeking several talented Software Development Interns, specializing in back-end, front-end and fullstack development, to join our dynamic and growing team!
Please note: This posting is hiring for student interns for multiple different teams in IT and Lab, for both Full Stack and Back End development. In the next step in the assessment process, you'll be able to clarify which position type interests you best between IT/Lab/Full Stack or Back End***
In the Back-End Developer Intern role, you will :
Work with the development team to coordinate the development of new features and resolve issues;
Learn how to design, code, and test new features of our policy management system.
Discover what it's like to work as a Developer and how technological advances are changing the way insurance companies do business;
Explore new ideas and learn best practices in a fun and inclusive environment;
Technical skillsrequired: Java/Kotlin, Docker/Kubernetes, AWS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Spring Boot/Spring Cloud, Maven, Git and MongoDB/Oracle
In the Full-Stack Developer Intern role, you will:
Participate in the development of Client Centre APIs in Java, Kotlin, and Nest;
Adjust unit tests to ensure the quality of the new development;
Adjust the technical documentation supporting the code;
Technical skillsrequired: Java/Kotlin, React, Spring/Spring Boot/Spring MVC, and microservices. For Front-End: Angular/React and typescript.
What you bring to the table:
Currently pursing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in a field related to software development, computer science, or any other related field;
Have at least one prior internship in a similar or related role;
Understand the software development lifecycle and be curious about continuous delivery pipelines and testing;
Experience in a financial services company (an asset);
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills;
Adaptability, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning;
Excellent communication skills with a passion for technology;
Self-reliant with a strong sense of responsibility, a team player with a good sense of leadership;
Available to work with us full-time, 35 hours per week, for the Winter Term from January 5 to April 24;
Must be an active student during your internship and/or returning to school in next Spring 2026 following your internship;
Be bilingual for all Quebec roles (English and French). Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.
