INSEAD seeks a Hotel Apprentice to join the INSEAD Residences in our Campus Services department. This is an apprenticeship based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.

About the Job

The role of the INSEAD Hotel staff is to welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, to do everything possible to ensure guest stays are as comfortable as possible from arrival to check-out.

Apprentice is to learn the various professions of a hotel (Front Desk/ Reception duties, Back-Office/ Admin duties & Reservations) from a team of professional and enthusiastic hotel experts, in an aim for them to pursue their professional experience in the hotel industry after graduating hence creating a pool of trained professionals in the event of an opening within the INSEAD Hotel Group.

Your role within the team

Handle check-in / check-out of guests and reservations (by phone, email, online)
Deal with in-house guest’s various queries
Deal with the coordination team and other INSEAD staff requests
Deal with external suppliers
Handle various administrative tasks
Proceed guest payments & invoicing
Ensure the safety of all hotel guests

The ideal profile

BTS Tourisme or Management en Hotellerie Restauration (start 1^st year in September 2025)
Excellent command of written and spoken English is required, fluent French is an asset
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer-focus skills
Excellent presentation skills
