Your Role
The UK Summer Internship program runs from 22nd June 2026 to 28th August 2026 and is designed for penultimate-year students with a desire in pursuing careers in M&A advisory, Capital Advisory Group (CAG) or Private Fund Advisory (PFA) services. This program offers hands-on experience and valuable exposure to high-level financial advisory work, providing interns with the opportunity to develop key skills in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Summer Interns will begin with a week of comprehensive training, providing you with the resources and guidance to contribute to live M&A projects from the start. You’ll then join a team working on real projects, where you’ll have the chance to be involved in all aspects of an M&A transaction. You’ll be supported throughout by your team and a dedicated ‘buddy’ to help you navigate your role.

Key responsibilities include the following:

Performing financial analysis and assisting with valuations
Contributing to industry research
Assisting in the preparation of confidential information memoranda and management presentations
Preparing confidential information memoranda and management presentations
Supporting senior bankers with business development and meeting preparation
Participating in the due diligence and closing process
Developing a solid understanding of M&A processes

You Bring

Penultimate year students enrolled in full-time study, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027
A clear interest in building a career in Financial Services
Exceptional academic record
Ambition, curiosity and determination
Knowledge of accounting and finance, along with business understanding
Excellent written and spoken English skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Confidence with numbers and the ability to analyse data effectively.
Prior experience in M&A, capital raising, or investment banking is helpful but not essential
