These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

As a Tax JD Associate, you will engage in tax compliance and client support, contributing to the delivery of exceptional tax services. You will be part of a dynamic team that assists clients in navigating complex tax laws and optimizing their tax positions. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. Responsibilities
- Supporting client engagement by contributing to tax compliance projects
- Preparing and drafting tax documents, including tax returns and regulatory submissions
- Analyzing financial statements to provide insights for corporate tax planning
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify opportunities for tax optimization
- Conducting tax research to stay updated on tax laws and regulations
- Assisting in the preparation of tax audits and financial reviews
- Collaborating with team members to deliver quality tax services
- Utilizing accounting practices to maintain accurate financial records
- Engaging in project management tasks to meet deadlines and project goals
- Providing regulatory compliance consulting to ensure adherence to tax laws
- Developing skills in tax accounting and tax preparation
- Participating in the analysis of financial data to support tax credit applications
- Building relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide tailored solutions
- Applying intellectual curiosity to explore innovative tax strategies
- Contributing to the Industry Tax Practice by sharing knowledge and insights
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Juris Doctorate
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements and demonstrate a commitment to undertaking and passing Bar exam.
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.

For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
