Join our team! As a Systems Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services. You'll be developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, ushering them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test using progressive tools. As a cross-functional engineer, you are in charge of system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline and typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience

  • Must have been a SNC Summer 2025 Intern

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

  • Basic Understanding of engineering principles and practices

  • Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams

  • Conceptual knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Understanding of requirements management and system modelling tools, such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB

  • Knowledge of industry-standard system engineering design principles, to include, classical and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)

  • Experienced or certified in INCOSE standards

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry

  • Familiarity with baseline definition and maturation in a complex development setting, including the use of highly integrated trade studies and analysis of alternatives

  • Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
