Join our team as an Intern supporting Product Owners and engineering teams working on cutting-edge system performance models and architectural simulations. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contributions will help shape the future of advanced communications systems.

Main Responsibilities

Support Agile Product Development: Help maintain and prioritize Jira backlogs, manage Epics, and refine user stories and acceptance criteria that describe system behaviors such as orbital coverage, user throughput, and gateway capacity.
Collaborate Across Teams: Participate in Agile ceremonies - stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives - to track progress, identify blockers, and support delivery. Work closely with engineering leads to translate technical modeling needs into actionable backlog items.
Enhance Team Visibility & Coordination: Assist in managing Jira dashboards and Confluence documentation to improve transparency and alignment across modeling teams (e.g., space segment, ground segment, user terminals).
Communicate Insights: Help prepare visual artifacts and reports that convey modeling results and system performance insights to engineering and program leadership.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with Agile concepts (e.g., sprints, backlogs, user stories).
Basic understanding of systems engineering or system modeling.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
Clear written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools and processes.

The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain clearance under the Canadian Controlled Goods program (CGP).
