The intern will report to the Senior Manager, Communications
This internship is a full-time, six-month commitment in Orlando, Florida, from January 2026 through June 2026
What You Will Do
As a Communications Intern on the Global Employee and Line of Business Communications Team, you’ll get a chance to turn your classroom skills into real-world experience in a fun and fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to grow your communications and strategic skills with an innovative team showcasing stories from around the world.
- Help amplify communications from partners to DX using Disney Cast Life Web/App
- Create content and write articles for Disney Cast Life Web/App, line of business newsletters, and other channels
- Support global email distributions
- Help design collateral material (i.e., digital slides, presentation, header images, etc.)
- Support the Technology, Finance, and HR lines of business
- Assist with content creation and distribution across a variety of communications vehicles (i.e., newsletters, Viva Engage, CastTVs, etc.)
- Help with global campaigns such as Global Recognition Week, Administrative Professional Week, and many more

- Decent design / digital media layout skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Can manage competing priorities and communicate updates effectively while under pressure
- Willing to contribute your skills, while always being open to learning, and confident to ask questions
It Would Also Be Great If You Have
- Knowledge of Keynote, WordPress, iOS operating system, and Smartsheet
- Previous communications experience
- An ability to write for various platforms and a love of storytelling is ideal
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
- Skill with social tracking and metrics sites such as Sprinklr and Adobe Analytics
- Previous experience working on social media in an academic or professional setting; posting and writing in the voice/tone of an organization
- Previous Disney experience with knowledge of Walt Disney World property and product
Education
- Junior or Senior year preferred
- Pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Public Affairs, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Customer Engagement, Marketing, or other relevant fields

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Disney College Program
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information
- The approximate dates of this internship are January 2026 through June 2026
- Fully available from Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Time Zone for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
- Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area.
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
- Be aligned with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
