This 10-week internship program, beginning in June, offers a set hourly rate of $33.00 an hour

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
 

As an intern in Single-Family Collateral Risk Management, you will be part of a comprehensive learning experience designed to help you develop valuable skills and insights.  You will work alongside dynamic teams such as: Collateral Policy & Valuations, Loan Quality Center, Servicer Oversight and Real Estate, Collateral and Loan Performance, and Servicing and Insurance Engagement & Policy supporting strategic initiatives that drive core business and mission objectives.

As part of your internship, you will be assigned a capstone project in addition to standard daily work assignments.  The project offers an opportunity to showcase your collaboration and problem-solving skills while providing exposure to business functions such as data analysis, requirements gathering, process improvements, and reporting and development.

Examples of intern tasks and projects include:

  • Contribute to analyses and documentation of risk-based business proposals
  • Assist application developers and project managers to develop plans for application enhancements or upgrades
  • Contribute to complex projects through research, deliverable management, and effective planning and coordination.
  • Gather data to prepare business analysis, and share key business insights with management and stakeholders aimed at improving internal processes.
  • Participate and contribute to the management of operating procedure reviews, and internal control documentation
  • Assist in coordinating with the development and monitoring of key performance/risk indicators
  • Integrate advanced technology and AI into business processes.

There are 10 openings for this position which will be based in our Plano, TX office. 

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship 
  • Academic achievement (preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date of Spring 2027  
  • Business Administration, Management, Finance, Information Systems, Real Estate, and Risk Management majors are preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and an ability to contribute to a team atmosphere with individuals who have diverse skill-sets to achieve a common goal
  • Self-starter, who is results oriented and possesses a strong analytical background
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), displaying an ability to present information and/or ideas in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
