Intern - Wine & Spirits Commercial FP&A

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing analytical support to the Commercial Finance team in the areas of financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting. The intern will be responsible for completing specific duties related to month-end close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and general business analysis.

Responsibilities

Primarily duties within the Commercial Finance organization. Specific duties to include (but not limited to) the following:

- Assist in the collection of monthly financial data and analysis of monthly financial results

- Support monthly and quarterly forecasting, planning, and reporting

- Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial reporting package

- Assistance with ongoing projects as needed

- Ad hoc reporting and analysis as assigned

Qualifications

Current full-time student enrolled in either an undergraduate or graduate-level program. GPA of 3.0 or higher, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Experience

- Undergraduate Internship: High School Degree or Equivalent

- Graduate Internship: Bachelor’s Degree

Strong customer service orientation is required with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines. Interns must be able to function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing priorities. They should be team players with a positive attitude, highly motivated, and change-oriented individuals capable of working with a variety of people at all levels. Additionally, they should be self-starters with the ability to work independently or in a team.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

- Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time

- Primary work environment is a professional corporate office

- Ability to travel commercially to domestic and international locations

The salary range for this role is:

$19.00- $29.50 an hour

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
