Charter Manufacturing is hiring a Digital Industry 4.0 Intern!

Program Structure:

  • Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.
  • Location: Hybrid
  • Start Date: May 2026

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enrollment in a two-year or four-year degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Preferred Experience:

Enthusiastic for new technology and process improvement.

What You’ll Focus On:

  • Help with the expansion of AI vision safety systems.
  • Assist with engineering practices for our plant robot.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Assist and/or lead multiple Digital Transformation -related projects supporting the different facets of the business.
  • Document and improve processes.
