In this role, you will facilitate content development and manage continuous reviews and updates. You will be responsible for planning and creating new content and maintaining existing content across multiple platforms. You will work closely with subject matter experts and content owners from various departments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures, forms, templates, and other resources
  • Coordinate and track content creation/updates, reviews, and publishing processes
  • Assist in developing the site content, site navigation, visual design, and other features of the enterprise operating guide site and team intranet site; develop and maintain pages and links across platforms
  • Produce engaging, easy-to-understand content that speaks to the target audience and aligns with organizational standards; ability to develop multiple content types (SOPs, user guides, best practice docs, etc.); work with content owners and subject matter experts to gain an in-depth understanding of the topic, the documentation requirements, and the audience
  • Assist in identifying content gaps and requirements; evaluate existing and planned future content and look for opportunities to leverage single-source material
  • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation/systems
  • Maintain standard operating procedures for content management and intranet maintenance
  • Assist in the production of training content (on-demand learning, recordings, etc.)

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2-3 years of relevant experience

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, and Certifications:

  • Content management, content design, and technical writing experience
  • Experience with MadCap Flare (or similar content authoring and management system) and HTML, CSS
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications including Teams, SharePoint, and office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  • Experience working effectively with virtual teams
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable interacting with team members at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/assignments at once and effectively prioritize
  • Experience in the AEC industry preferred
  • Experience with graphic design and video creation/editing preferred

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
