This position is a temporary 8-month co-op assignment from January 2026-August 2026 or May 2026-December 2026. Only students currently attending college or university will be considered.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Develop expertise in control valve, instrument, and participate in continuous improvement of test technology.
Work with Simulation, Design, Materials and Product Engineering groups, as part of a multi-functional team to determine testing requirements.
Develop and complete test plans in cooperation with internal design teams and external customers.
Assemble test units, install measurement instrumentation, and set up data acquisition systems.
Evaluate experimental data and prepare engineering reports that include analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
Update company-wide standards and web pages.
Use LabVIEW, FlexLogger, DIAdem, DeltaV, VBA, and/or Python software for the implementation of automated systems that could consist of process or report automation, physical hardware setup, or data analysis.
Collaborate in an agile team environment to efficiently conduct testing.

Major(s): Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Nuclear Engineering
Minimum year in school: Junior
GPA: 2.75
Completion of the following courses is required for this position: Statics and Mechanics of Materials
Hands-on mechanical proficiency and experience
