About our Internship Program  

Our internships offer comprehensive experience in the industry by providing hands-on opportunities to gain practical knowledge. Participants engage in weekly developmental sessions, fostering networking with both peers and leadership. Working closely with senior data scientists, interns learn and adopt key development processes while thriving in diverse environments, ensuring smooth collaboration with stakeholders. They tackle technical challenges, showcasing problem-solving skills and staying updated with evolving technological trends.   

Start Date: June 1, 2026  

Duration: 11-12 weeks  

Location: On-site in Raleigh, NC.   

Relocation assistance is NOT provided.  

Graduation Requirements: Applicants must have a graduation date AFTER June 2026 to be eligible for consideration.  

About the Role 
 

As a Data Science Intern, you will analyze complex data sets and develop practical data mining and statistical analysis skills. You will also create machine learning-based data solutions. You will work closely with other data scientists and engineers to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge AI solutions. Successful applicants will gain real-world industry experience, attend weekly knowledge and development sessions, and network with peers and leadership.  

Responsibilities 

• Assisting in collecting, cleaning, and organizing large datasets for analysis. 

• Collaborating with team members to develop and test predictive models and algorithms. 

• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns within the data 

• Contributing to the creation of data visualizations and reports to communicate findings. 

• Supporting the implementation of machine learning models and evaluating their performance 

• Participating in the evaluation and testing of new data science tools and technologies. 

 
Requirements 

• Be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field of study.  

• Be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. 

• Demonstrate a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and proficiency in using data visualization tools. 

• Have excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. 

• Be detail-oriented with an exceptional ability to work independently and in a team. 

• Possess a passion for leveraging data to drive business insights and decision-making. 

• Display a passion for learning and staying updated with industry trends.

Salary Range

$22-$32 hourly, depending on level of degree
