Red Hat is looking for someone to work with us in Technical Marketing for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. I know, Marketing, bleck, but read on! In this role, you will be responsible for creating and delivering technical assets used by the RHEL product team that influence technical audiences to get the most and build awareness for Red Hat Enterprise Linux. You will focus your efforts on blogs, videos, demonstrations, and hands-on product experiences (labs) that are used by existing and prospective customers.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Design a program of need to know commands and understanding of Linux.

  • Create and deliver external content like labs, blogs, how-to videos, tech tips, demos, papers, articles, etc.

  • Create and deliver concept and technical presentations to Red Hat audiences

  • Have an idea about how we can better show up with our product?  Programatize that and do it!

Required skills:

  • Technical background, with expertise in Linux 

  • Experience writing software on Linux (Python, node.js, php, or other language runtime)

  • Desire to create high-quality, interesting, compelling technical content

  • Success in a collaborative, technical environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The following are considered a plus:

  • Virtualization, Linux administration, using cloud based instances
