The Allied Solutions internship program is a robust and consistent internship program for juniors and seniors. The program will focus on learning and development as well as hands-on experience. The program will immerse the intern into a broad range of responsibilities, allowing you to execute projects within your area of professional interests.

Interested applicants must be available during the 12-week program (May 18th – Aug. 7th, 2026). This is a full-time internship (40-hours per week) based at our headquarters in Carmel, IN.

The Project Management Intern will gain hands-on experience in leading a small-scale project using Agile methodology while supporting the dual role of Project Manager and Scrum Master. This internship provides the opportunity to learn and apply core project management practices, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure project success. The intern will assist in planning, execution, and documentation, while also helping manage risks, track progress, and maintain project artifacts. In addition, the role emphasizes professional development through mentoring sessions, knowledge sharing, and active learning of project management tools, techniques, and best practices.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

Support the planning, execution, and delivery of a small-scale project using Agile methodology.

Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with stakeholders.

Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.

Agile & Scrum Responsibilities:

Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Collaborate with the product owner to manage and refine the product backlog.

Maintain project artifacts (e.g., user stories, task boards, burndown charts).

Help identify and remove impediments that may hinder the team’s progress.

Encourage and support team members in following Agile principles and practices.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

Act as a point of contact to facilitate communication between stakeholders, team members, and project managers.

Track and communicate project progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

Document project updates, key decisions, and lessons learned.

Foster a collaborative, transparent, and continuous improvement mindset within the team.

Learning & Professional Development:

Actively learn and apply Agile and project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Participate in mentoring sessions with senior project managers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications & KSA):

Currently enrolled in undergraduate program as rising Junior or Senior, pursuing a degree in project management, information systems, or a related field.

Coursework or academic exposure to project management, Agile methodologies, or business analysis preferred.

Exposure to Agile concepts or project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or Smartsheet) is beneficial.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum principles.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to think critically, identify risks, and propose solutions.
