RoleOverview

Responsible for the design, implementation, and operational support of Comcast’s Backbone Peer interconnects services. Provides real time analysis, design, testing, and operations of internet protocol router networks, etc. Also, act as a Liaison between various entities and Customers to offer unique technical solutions as needed. Complies with industry and Company technical requirements, standards, policies, and procedures.

Primary role will be supporting several internal teams in the coordination and implementation of network automation requests for network design in support of Comcast’s objectives for the Core network.

PreferredQualifications

Familiarity of Python web framework preferably.

Working knowledge of multi-threading architecture

Fundamental understanding of front-end technologies AJAX, HTML

Familiarity with the database schemas to represent and support business operations

Preferred Majors: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.

Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 30, 2026, through September 18, 2026.

Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting

Compensation

Base Pay: $32.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
