As an engineer in our Kelowna office, you'll be part of our growing LDME team, using your technical and interpersonal skills to support the design and construction of public and private infrastructure throughout the Okanagan Valley. Projects include water and utilities improvements, site development, major parks improvements. and transportation improvements These assignments impact the quality of day to day life and the enjoyment of the natural environment for all residents, and are projects you can point to for years to come as having helped complete.

What you can expect to do here:

  • You'll be using your knowledge to complete field observations, undertake design assignments, write technical reports, collaborate with our counterparts in different disciplines at WSP and contribute to client deliverables on projects;
  • You’ll be building relationships with internal and external clients and ensuring that their needs are understood and met;
  • You'll develop an understanding of project management requirements and build confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • You’ll ensure that the appropriate background research, analysis and design is completed in consultation with senior engineers;

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Minimum two years University education in  Civil Engineering or similar
  • You enjoy fieldwork as well as office work and  are comfortable working autonomously – think the opposite of your standard 9-5 desk job!
  • You’ve got a clean Driver’s Abstract, and you know your way around the MS Office suite of products;
