INSEAD seeks an Apprentice Financing Assistant to join our Degree Programmes department. This is an apprenticeship based at our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France.
About the Job
As a Financing Assistant Apprentice, you will support the Fin Aid team in the collection of the fees across Degree Programmes. You will be responsible for the outstanding payments overview. You will also contribute to managing scholarship application process.
Your role within the team
Payments:
- Data entry to People Soft of the sponsoring companies' info.
- Maintain data on students’ means of funding across all Degree Programmes.
- Update country funding web pages.
- Collect payments from clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of all the payments received. Send reminders.
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers to ensure timely payment.
- Supervise outstanding payments across Degree Programmes and collaborate with the Programme Management team to ensure Diplomas are only granted upon the fee settlement.
- Liaise with Accounts Departments in Fontainebleau and Singapore to receive and register payment updates.
- Negotiate payment plans as and when asked by the students, sign repayment agreements.
- Handle inquiries related to tuition payments and scholarship applications.
- Provide regular reports on collections, outstanding balances, and follow-up activities.
- Help to sign agreements with sponsoring companies and "conventions" for the French sponsored students.
- Create company contacts in People Soft.
- Serve as a back up to manage French public sources of funding (CPF)
- Help with attestations and certificates and with the withdrawal surveys.
Scholarships:
- Coordinate with the team and communicate scholarship decisions for all admission rounds for the MBAs.
The ideal profile
- Master’s degree (starting in September 2025)
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously and handle a lot of information.
- Good communication skills.
- Team spirit and cultural sensitivity.
- At ease with virtual team.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to work with Microsoft office.
- At ease with data and basic stats.
