Overview
The Coordinator of Student Organizations & Innovation Initiatives is responsible for fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus environment by developing, coordinating, and supporting student organizations, civic engagement initiatives, and community service opportunities. This role provides advising and leadership development support to student organizations, assists in budget planning and program development, and collaborates with college offices to enhance co-curricular engagement. The coordinator also facilitates training and supports annual campus events, staying current on trends in student engagement and leadership to ensure programs meet the evolving needs of students. Significant weekend and evening hours will be necessary to support weekend activity programs. Schedule will vary according to needs of students. Summer hours to follow College summer schedule. Travel among College campus buildings and college locations.

Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree In appropriate discipline. Required
- Master's Degree In a relevant discipline. Preferred
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Valid and in State Valid Driver's License. Required
EXPERIENCE
- Prior experience planning and executing large scale events. Required
- Related work experience preferably in an educational facility in Student Engagement/ Activities, Student Affairs, Residence Life, and/or Student Orientation. Required
- Experience in leading trainings or workshops. Required
- Prior experience advising students organizations. Preferred
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
- Evidence of creativity and ingenuity in developing programs and solving problems. Required
- Ability to teach/facilitate leadership development. Required
- Developed organizational skills. Required
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required
- Ability to train and motivate people. Required
- Experience in fiscal management. Preferred
- Possession of a valid driver’s license. Preferred
Responsibilities
Physical Standards and Special Job Features
- Must be able to move about freely around campus.
- Ability to lift and/or move equipment weighing approximately 30 lbs.
Pay Transparency
Based on minimum education and experience qualifications the yearly salary range is $53,000 - $63,000.College Statement
