About the Role

The CommOps Policy Developers (COPD) team is crucial in “codifying” global policies, integrating them seamlessly within our support framework, and implementing them across various interfaces. As an intern, you will collaborate with a team of developers to create, maintain, and automate processes that support regional and global operations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking to make a significant impact.

As an Intern, You Will:

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders and Develop Automations:

  • Work with various stakeholders to understand their needs and develop automations that enhance operational efficiency.

  • Drive Analysis and Strategic Decisions:

  • Analyze projects and make data-driven decisions to improve experiences for drivers and riders.

  • Code Development:

  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code that supports policy implementation.

  • Coordination and Impact Measurement:

  • Coordinate with the Community Operations team globally to assess the impact and efficiency of new products and processes.

  • Process Building and Maintenance:

  • Build, maintain, and automate detailed processes to streamline city, regional, and global operations.

What You Will Need:

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and SQL.
  • Anticipated graduation in 2026.
  • Experience with JSON data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of working with database
  • Ability to work effectively with remote teams across different time zones.
  • Quick learning ability and the capacity to transfer knowledge to the team.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills
