Your Key Responsibilities

• Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, change orders, RFIs, etc.)
• Attends construction meetings and document discussions
• Performs periodic site visits and utilizes a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items
• Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, infrared testing, etc.)
• Assists in project management and coordination
• Assists in building condition assessments, reserve fund studies, and building envelope rehabilitation, and new construction projects
• Participates in continuing education

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication and written skills in English
• Professional attitude with a strong commitment to succeed
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Must have a valid driver's license

Education and Experience

• Working towards Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of Building Science principles (heat transfer, vapour diffusion, material compatibilities), construction methods, or Building Envelope components is a plus

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
