Position Summary

Cruiserath Biologics are seeking to recruit an Intern for the QC Materials, QC Raw Materials team to support the QC teams at its Multi-Product Cell Culture Drug Substance Facility.

Reporting to the QC Materials Manager, they will support the activities in the Projects team as defined below.


Key Responsibilities

- Performing QC testing (TOC, pH Conductivity) of water samples.

- Performing analysis of Raw Materials using wet chemistry techniques.

- Completion in a timely and accurate manner of laboratory documentation as directed by the QC Material Management Supervisor.

- Compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Registered Specifications.

- Assisting in authoring and reviewing documentation, including SOPs, as required.

- Batch paperwork review, and reconciliation of analysis performed in laboratory. - Ensuring that any out of specification results are investigated according to site procedures.

- Assisting with out of specification investigations and deviations using the Infinity system.

- Sample management activities- ensuring chain of custody is maintained using CIMS and LIMS.

- Keeps abreast of current corporate and industry requirements and compliance trends as they pertain to laboratory operations and aseptic manufacturing.

- Performing any other activities as indicated by the Lab Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

- Currently undertaking a third level qualification (Degree) in Science or related discipline.

- Experience with basic laboratory practices, such as use of pipettes, balances and pH meters.

- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience of working as part of a team and ability to work on own initiative.
