RoboForce is an AI robotics company building Physical AI and Robo-Labor system for dull, dirty, and dangerous work. Our flagship robot, TITAN, is a super humanoid robot designed for industrial environments. We are based in Milpitas, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

We are looking for anAI & Robotics Data Collection Engineer Intern (Full-Time or Part-Time)to handle daily robot data‑gathering operations and manage the complete data labeling pipeline—from raw capture to annotated, model‑ready datasets.

Location & Schedule

  • On-site in Milpitas, CA
  • Hours per week: 20–40 
  • November 2025 through January 2026

Responsibilities

  • Robot Operation & Data Capture – Run humanoid robots in customer scenarios, tele‑operate when needed, and ensure high‑quality data collection.
  • Sensor setup: Setup and calibrate the sensors (cameras, lidars, etc) for data collection.
  • Data quality QA: QA data labels from vendors to ensure the data quality. Define the quality criteria. Develop tools to improve QA efficiency.
  • Issue Identification: Spot bugs or issues as they arise, promptly communicate them to the right engineering teams, and confirm resolutions.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a safe environment for both the operator and the robot. Follow proper bring-up and shutdown procedures, including routine equipment checks.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering (or related field).
  • Strong organizational skills totrack tasks, metrics, and deadlines.
  • Hands‑on experience withLinux/Ubuntu, shell scripting, or Python.
  • Must be able to workonsiteat ourMilpitas, CA officefor20+ hours(part-time) or40 hours(full-time) per week

Bonus Qualifications

  • Data Annotation: Experience using labeling tools or annotation platforms.
  • Sensor calibrationexperience.
  • ROS2 & Containerization: Exposure to ROS2, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
