Work you’ll do

As part of the office Operations Team, the One Team Associate Intern will wear multiple hats, providing daily office and facility services to a varied group of professionals in a large corporate environment. This role requires a customer-centric, proactive, positive, and detail-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced team-oriented support model.

As a One Team Associate at Deloitte your responsibilities will include:

  • Space Bookings: Manage office reservations for enclosed private spaces and workstations.
  • Event Planning & Logistics: Coordinate in-office events, including room reservations, catering, visitor management, supplier coordination, and AV requests.
  • Room Setup & AV Support: Set up meeting rooms and provide audio-visual assistance.
  • Reception Duties: Register, check in and greet visitors, and handle incoming phone calls (when necessary).
  • Floor Readiness: Perform daily space resets, coordinate pantry services, and ensure quality standards.
  • Office Services: Handle mail and related office support tasks.
  • Stakeholder Mgmt: Interface with professionals and PPMDs daily to support requests and business needs.

The Team

At Deloitte, the internal operations team provides a full-range of business and hospitality services. We help our Deloitte professionals with daily office support needs and an array of other services related to office operations and facility management. Our team members work collaboratively and apply their specialized knowledge and skills to think proactively to provide a holistic customer-centric “experience” for our Deloitte professionals, clients, and guests.

The Ideal Candidate will Possess:

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, productivity software, video conference technology and other computer applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication / interpersonal skills
  • Excellent people skills with a strong focus on customer service
  • Critical thinking, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage change in a dynamic environment
  • Skilled in time management and ability to successfully manage multiple responsibilities

Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's Degree in progress at a CUNY school with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Minimum high-school diploma required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to work on-site
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Preferred:

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $23.
