Job Description
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
Laboratory Animals Resources helps advance high quality drug candidates into development by assisting in defining the non–clinical safety and selectivity of lead compounds. Laboratory Animals Resources provides collaborative research in animal model development, veterinary medical and animal care, research facility management and also responds to regulatory questions in support of drug registration.
Under general supervision of Director/Sr. Director and Vivarium Managers, interns will be exposed to the comprehensive and specialized professional Vivarium program for a variety of laboratory animal species at our company. Activities will be appropriate to the degree of the candidate, involving a range of experiences from assisting with clinical cases, monitoring of infectious diseases, coordinating husbandry and aspects of personnel management. Collaboration with ongoing In-Vivo drug discovery and development projects is expected to include assisting with the implementation of special projects to facilitate advancements in laboratory animal care or use, consistent with research requirements. Interns are expected to prepare and present a final report on their training and research experience.

Education:
Candidates should currently be enrolled an accredited Veterinary Medical program or in pursuit of a AS/BS/MS in: Animal Science, Biology, Pharmacology or a relevant discipline.
Required Skills:
Candidate must be available for a period of 9 - 12 weeks, beginning May 2026.
Preferred Skills:
Candidate should have ALAT certification.
Candidate should have In-Vivo laboratory experience.
Candidate should have In-Vivo husbandry experience.

Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
