Job Description

Our Stability and Compliance Team is a group made up of wide and diverse areas of expertise including stability specialists, quality specialists, change control SMEs and compliance specialists. This team is responsible for the Quality Oversight and support of Laboratory Operations and is currently recruiting for an  Intern - Associate Specialist, Quality Control.

You will be responsible for contributing to a high-performance culture within the IPT by engaging in an environment of flexibility, collaboration, engagement and teamwork.  The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a high level of innovation, enthusiasm for the delivery of improvement projects within the Lab Ops area as well as day-to-day base business support.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure Stability programme requirements are adhered to.
  • Liaise with external contract labs.
  • Provide Quality Oversight and support of Laboratory Operations including on time testing, deviation closure and ensuring right first time in deviation classifications.
  • Support Laboratory changes via IPI and Veeva Vault.
  • Aid in troubleshooting technical issues and take part in investigations through scientific problem-solving approaches.
  • Partner with cross functional groups to support change management to implement process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with site EHS policy, cGMP and other business regulations and participate in risk assessments, audits, regulatory inspections and incident investigations and ensure timely responses.
  • Ensure the highest Quality, Compliance and Safety standards by participating and complying with our Manufacturing Division Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, including ownership, as relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE - KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

General

Third level qualification in a Science or Engineering related subject.

Technical

Interest  in at least three of the following: quality assurance, process & equipment validation, statistics, quality control, Lean methodologies, project management & execution, chemistry,  microbiology, regulatory inspections.

People

Excellent communication, decision making, people influencing and project management skills.
