The Intern, Undergraduate/Post Baccalaureate - Temporary Part Time will provide additional support to the faculty and clinical trial team in the Cord Blood Transplant Program.

This role will have the opportunity to work partially at our campus and remotely.

Responsibilities
- Work in a laboratory space and interact with laboratory personnel following established lab safety protocols.
- Collaborate with members of the research team and their work on various projects.
- Contributes to other projects as agreed upon by both the intern and CBT research team.
- Assist with Data entry and analysis using basic computer skills and programs such as Excel and RedCap.
- Shadow and explore career paths of interest within the CBT.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years or older.
- Undergraduate of any level or no more than 1-year post graduation from an accredited degree program.
- Strong background either practically or academically in clinical, laboratory, or public health sciences.
- For laboratory: Previous experience in a wet lab with basic BLS-2 skillsets with interest in stem cell research.
- For clinical: Previous experience with statistics with interest in hematology, oncology and bone marrow transplant. Previous clinical experience, REDCap and/or statistical analysis software strongly desired.
- For public health: Experience with basic public health frameworks, statistical analysis and applied public health practice preferred. Previous experience with statistical analysis software strongly desired.
- Able to be onsite at the Fred Hutch South Lake Union Campus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exposure to Stem cell research.
- Familiarity with clinical statistical analysis.
- Clinical oncology exposure.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $20.76 to $30.13 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
