Job Summary

Work Shift

1 - First ShiftThe Audio Visual Intern assists with studio and field-based video and photo production, including the filming, editing, sound mixing, graphics, animation, and final output for a wide range of products and events. This position covers company events, which may involve: operating video and audio equipment, transporting and setting up lighting and portable sound system, and helping with post-production tasks. This role selects and assembles equipment according to subject material, anticipated conditions, and overall scope of the project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1.Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship, and model the associated behaviors.

2. Assist with audio-video and photography needs across the company including product, training, safety, and other requested video and/or photography.

3. Support Vermeer corporate events with audio visual equipment needs. This will include planning, setup, capturing video, run of show, and final output.

Education and/or Experience

- High School diploma required.

- Current student pursing a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in digital photography, videography, automation or related field.

- Previous internship is a plus.

Other Skills and Abilities

- Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers and co-workers.

- Ability to produce accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.

- Demonstration of good verbal and written communication skills.

- Previous experience with darkroom supplies, photography film, and raw footage film.

- Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships, which encourage openness with customers and peers.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
