Position Description: 

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven summer intern to support our Public Relations/Communications team. The intern will support internal and external communications across Global Franchises, R&D, and Digital. This role offers hands-on experience with global campaigns, product launches, and strategic storytelling that highlights innovation and impact.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the development and rollout of integrated global communication campaigns that support strategic initiatives across franchises and innovation platforms.
  • Support content creation and delivery across multiple channels (e.g., intranet, email, social media, web, video), ensuring alignment with audience needs and business objectives.
  • Contribute to messaging and materials for new product launches, including internal toolkits and external-facing assets.
  • Help manage editorial calendars, draft employee communications, and support internal engagement initiatives tied to Franchise, Innovation, R&D, and Digital Health priorities.
  • Assist in drafting press releases, media statements, and social media content that highlight innovation and thought leadership.
  • Monitor media coverage and social sentiment around key campaigns and launches; compile insights to inform strategy and improve future communications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across marketing, R&D, Digital, and corporate functions to ensure consistent messaging and timely execution.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op. 
  • Must be pursuing at least a bachelor’s level degree in Public Relations, Communications, English, Marketing, Journalism or related major. 
  • Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects) 
  • Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated) 
  • Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week) Intern position.
