An internship with our Capital Partners Funds Administration Team provides insight into the creation, maintenance and distribution of BBH’s private funds, including private equity, hedge and real estate funds; and registered funds, including mutual funds, collective investment trusts, UCITS and bespoke funds for specific clients.  Funds Administration is comprised of multiple pillars, including Product Management, Finance and Trading and Portfolio Construction, who work together to build and support the operational infrastructure of BBH funds.

Main areas of focus for the Fund Administration Team include:

• Coordinating with legal, compliance, risk, operations, investment and relationship teams across the firm on all aspects of new product launches
• Assisting in legal structuring of funds to achieve optimal tax and client experience outcomes
• Working with outside counsel to form legal entities and complete regulatory filings
• Opening fund bank accounts and ensuring administration contracts are updated and internal reporting channels accurately reflect fund terms
• Managing fund offering process for clients of BBH’s broker/dealer entity, including a suitability determination, subscription document review and associated broker/dealer reporting
• Overseeing financial administration of funds, including NAV generation, financial reporting, and tax filings
• Facilitating trading for fund products, including settlements and cash movements for complex securities
• Preparing and presenting reporting for fund boards of directors and oversight committees

What can you expect from an Internship with BBH’s Capital Partners Funds Administration Team?

• Monitor capital calls and distributions and help facilitate fund response
• Perform reconciliation of fund inventories embedded in contractual legal agreements
• Organize a consolidated inventory of fund legal structure charts and diagram new structures
• Compile profiles depicting fund eligibility, legal, tax and contact management requirements
• Support activities related to the management of investor profiles for BBH Private Funds
• Assist in the building of a security inventory for a BBH private credit fund
• Participate in the review of fund NAV packages and Schedule K-1s
• Standardize the formatting of fund desk procedures
• Map data in DocuSign for fund subscription agreements
• Examine client onboarding workflows and implement process improvements
• Participate in projects involving large scale data integrity and remediation

What BBH’s Capital Partners Funds Management Team looks for in an Intern:

• Current junior in college, entering senior year in Fall of 2026
• Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.3 or higher
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
• Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem
• Ability to prioritize competing demands
• Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, i.e. comfortable using common formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, IF), building basic charts, and creating/manipulating pivot tables for simple analysis.

Salary Range

$25/hr + sign on

BBH’s compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
