Job Description
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
Regulatory Innovation & Information Management (RIIM) is a department within Global Regulatory Affairs & Clinical Safety (GRACS) Operations, Processes, and Systems (O.P.S.) that drives innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence across regulatory processes. RIIM colleagues play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational integrity, compliance, and strategic alignment of Regulatory systems and AI/Hyperautomation solutions that support the execution of the Research and Development Book of Business. The Hyperautomation, AI, and Strategic Innovation Management (HAI-SIM) team within RIIM enables cutting-edge digital solutions to manage information across GRACS. HAI-SIM is comprised of three key focus areas: Hyperautomation & AI, Information Management Systems, and Strategic Initiatives and Communications.
Role Overview: The RIIM AI/Hyperautomation internship will be focused on designing and building dynamic solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation. This hands-on role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and real-world business challenges, ideal for students passionate about the intersection of business and artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand AI/hyperautomation opportunities and priorities across GRACS functional areas.
Analyze business processes and contribute to documentation and tracking of AI/hyperautomation initiatives.
Present findings and project outcomes to stakeholders.
Develop visually engaging slide decks and communication materials for cross-functional audiences across various levels of the organization.
Author clear, concise written communications related to strategic initiatives and RIIM systems (e.g., email announcements, newsletters).
Maintain and enhance the AI/Hyperautomation sites, ensuring content is current, accessible, and aligned with branding guidelines.
Education Requirement:
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence.
Required Experience and Skills:
Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must have familiarity with AI concepts, automation platforms (e.g., RPA, low-code tools), and data visualization
Must have excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Must have time management and organization skills
Must have creativity and innovation

Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,600.00-$105,500.00 USD
