Product Engineering Co-Op

Based in our Marshalltown, IA location, you will apply your technical background to identify and address business needs while managing a product’s life cycle to ensure revenue, profitability, quality, and customer loyalty goals. This position will work cross-functionally with our product design teams, business leaders, world area marketing, manufacturing, and business development leaders to achieve business goals.

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Assist Product Engineering team with technical support for existing product line
• Assist with the evaluation of the new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications
• Troubleshoot valve performance or manufacturing issues while completing engineering analyses in order to provide a solution to the root cause
• Provide engineering support to the Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings
• Assist with the daily execution of products orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction
• Develop and streamline digital tools used for design and validation of new and existing products.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Engineering or Science from an Engineering School (students in any class status will be considered) 
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person at location (Marshalltown, IA)

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• GPA of 3.0 or above
• Prior internship experience
