Internships at ByteDance aim to provide students with hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. A vibrant blend of social events and enriching development workshops will be available for you to explore. Here, you will utilize your knowledge in real-world scenarios while laying a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. It runs for 12 weeks.

Candidates who pass resume screening will be invited to participate in ByteDance's technical online assessment.
Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Resilience:Participate in designing fault-tolerant systems, assist in developing monitoring/automation tools
2.Resource Optimization:1.Contribute to analyzing infrastructure usage patterns, help implement efficiency improvements
3.Quality Improvement Support:Assist in identifying and addressing issues impacting service quality and user experience;Collaborate with teams to monitor quality metrics and contribute to continuous improvements.
Cross-Team Collaboration;Shadow engineers during technical reviews;Document system behaviors and best practices
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
2. Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026
3. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
4. Experience in programming, included but not limited to, the following programming languages: Golang, Python or C.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Curiosity about distributed systems or multimedia tech
2. Ability to thrive in collaborative environments
