Baseline Requirements:
- Currently enrolled as a university student (undergraduate or graduate) in their Sophomore year or above.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Available to work part-time starting Spring 2026 with opportunity to continue full-time Summer 2026
- Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company

Sustainability Center of Competence Intern
Join Siemens’ Sustainability Center of Competence as an intern and help shape the future of sustainable innovation across industries. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore global sustainability trends, government regulations, and competitive strategies while contributing to impactful marketing and communications initiatives. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop content and messaging that drives awareness and action around sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research on sustainability trends and benchmarks
- Analyze government sustainability requirements across various countries
- Identify strategies to meet regulatory standards across multiple industries
- Research competitor sustainability initiatives and positioning
- Support marketing and communications efforts related to sustainability
- Develop engaging content to educate and inspire internal and external audiences
- Integrate sustainability messaging into broader Siemens marketing campaigns
Qualifications
- Strong research and analytical skills to conduct market and regulatory analysis across global regions
- Ability to interpret and synthesize government sustainability requirements across industries
- Familiarity with sustainability concepts, environmental regulations, and industry benchmarks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support marketing and content development
- Creative mindset with the ability to translate technical sustainability topics into engaging messaging
- Experience or coursework in engineering, environmental science, or technical marketing is a plus

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education.
