What You’ll Learn

Project Overview:Design analog circuit building blocks for advanced RF transceivers in FinFET process, e.g., LNA, mixer, VCO, PLL, and power amplifier
Skills You’ll Learn:
- Analog and RF circuit design in advanced CMOS nodes

- SystemVerilog modeling and AMS simulation
- EM simulation
- RF and analog layout in advanced CMOS nodes

What You’ll Do

The Advanced Circuit and Systems RFIC team designs cutting edge RF transceivers for cellular and connectivity products.

Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Jose headquarters 5 days a week in alignment with our Flexible Work policy

Reports to: Sr. Director

In this role, you will:

Design key analog building blocks for advanced RF transceivers.
Build high performance CMOS circuits in advanced CMOS nodes.
Working together with experienced RF/analog designers to solve real production problems.
Invite both circuit and system innovation to improve RF transceiver performance.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

Current student pursuing PhD in Electrical Engineering
Must have at least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining
Good knowledge on key analog circuit building block design, including amplifier, bandgap, biasing circuitry, oscillator, dividers, comparators, and etc.
Familiar with Cadence for simulation and Virtuoso for layout.
Good to have knowledge on SystemVerilog and Python.
