About The Opportunity
This position works closely with the Corporate Accounting Team supporting Menasha Packaging. This position will assist the team preparing, reviewing, and posting month end entries and preparing balance sheet reconciliations, along with performing a variety of accounting processes and analysis throughout the month. This position will work with other team members to streamline accounting processes and improve controls. You will have guidance from a mentor on the Accounting Team as well as be included in Menasha Corporation’s Intern Program, which focuses on connection, experience building, and professional development.The Accounting Intern will support the Corporate Accounting Team on various projects from Fall 2025 through August 2026. During the academic year, the intern will work part-time hours, with an expectation to increase to full-time availability during school breaks and summer.
Areas of Learning/Responsibilities
Compile financial information to prepare journal entries and various analyses
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
Evaluate procedures for process improvements and update documentation
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
Knowledge in relevant accounting software (SAP, Microsoft Office, including advanced excel formulas)
Accounting background, with knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and processes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Prioritization and organization skills

Internship and co-op positions require that the student is currently enrolled in post-secondary education at the time of employment.
