Your Opportunity

Our dynamic New York City Urban Places and Smart Mobility team is looking for an Intern for the Summer 2026.

Your Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist the team in the preparation of planning and design studies for a variety of projects related to mobility and transportation studies, street design, and sustainable design. Strong graphic and communication skills required.
  • Responsibilities include graphic production using tools such as computer aided design and drafting, Rhino, ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign) as well as presentation and report production. Knowledge of ArcGIS Online apps is desirable.
  • Strong Writing and Editing skills and experience with AI a plus.  

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Minimum requirements include some exposure to design software and current good academic standing in an urban planning and design or related program.

Education and Experience 

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Master’s Program

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. The Summer Intern is expected to work minimum 40hrs/week.
