About the division: Our Origination and Advisory business provides the full range of advisory and financing products and services of a leading global investment bank. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors. We advise on innovative cross-border and regional transactions in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific. About the role: Our interns are given the opportunity to learn about our business from different viewpoints, giving you a career advantage. Working on our day-to-day business as well as on special projects, you will contribute to the innovation of new ideas to help our customers achieve their financial goals. You will gain experience in different areas of our business and discover our market-leading solutions firsthand. Your day-to-day tasks may vary depending on your business area, but intern responsibilities may include: Monitoring capital market activity, trends and investor sentiment as well as performing in-depth company analysis on specific situations Supporting the execution of client advisory and financial transactions while managing multiple projects with rigid and, at times, global timelines Preparing marketing materials and transaction documentation, including but not limited to pitch books, corporate and investor profiles, and analysis Conducting detailed financial analysis, market data and transaction details to identify appropriate comparables and contribute to the development of pricing recommendations for new issuances. Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, research, and legal teams, as well as external parties such as investors and legal counsel Gaining an in-depth understanding of the products and services offered and their application to client needs Areas in which you could work: ‒ Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Strategic Equity Transactions Group (SETG) What we look for: We recruit students and graduates who have: a strong foundational knowledge and interest in Corporate Finance and Accounting confident, constructive and effective communication skills an ability to manage multiple projects with rigid timelines an ability to solve problems, organize tasks and manage multiple projects with rigid timelines an interest and ability to work collaboratively across the Deutsche Bank platform and global teams in support of our clients A formal mathematical or financial background isn’t required. Our comprehensive training programs will provide you technical skills you’ll need to build a career with us. To be eligible for the 2026 Internship Program you must: Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between 1st August 2026 and 31st July 2027. Be able to start full time work in July 2027, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements. Return to full-time study after the 2026 internship. If you do not return to full-time study you will not be eligible for the 2027 Graduate Programme. You should also be on track for a 2:1 or First (or equivalent) in your undergraduate degree. Possess no more than 12 months full-time, relevant work experience. For some placements within Origination and Advisory, in addition to English, fluency in a European language is desirable.
