The summer Intern role in the Sanofi Vaccine, Manufacturing, and Supply within the FFIP section involves supporting the FFIP Business Systems Team. This includes tasks such as driving continuous improvement in the collection and management of data quality, as well as data modeling and visualization.
The summer intern will work in the Sanofi Facility located in Swiftwater, PA

Main Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement in data quality, accessibility and education across FFIP functions.
Aid in solving process related problems by ensuring the collection, management, and analysis of quality data.
Conduct quality assurance of collected data and expand the core concepts of data governance within the organization.
Participate in modeling initiatives through data acquisition and visualization of key results AND life cycle improvements of existing vaccines processes.
Aid with activities such as Statistical Process Control, data mining, and process modeling.
Support implementation industry-leading visualization tools and/or “core model” tools (e.g., Power BI, etc.) to create real-time performance altering dashboards and quality metrics across all process areas of FFIP.
Collaborate with digital teams to support implementation of AI-powered solutions for process optimization.
Support implementation of digital twin technology and process simulation tools to improve manufacturing flows.
Support implementation of predictive analytics for process improvements around cost and productivity.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical, mechanical, and/or other applicable engineering program at an accredited university with the expectation that you will complete yourcurrent degreeby the Spring of 2027.
Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated willingness to learn, teamwork abilities, excellent communication, adaptability, organizational and analytical skills, and a strong interest in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical industry.
