Job Description:

Machine Solutions provides manufacturing and testing equipment for catheter and medical device manufacturers. Vante, as a division of Machine Solutions, is able to provide our customers with a wide range of solutions for medical device manufacturing. Vante provides innovative production equipment for catheter and medical disposables manufacturers. We offer an excellent opportunity for highly motivated individuals in a fast-paced, biotech organization.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

Gains experience in the engineering function of the business as a student. Provides support for the engineering function in a learning capacity. Duties may include the following:

• Provides direct support for manufacturing operations; provides support for design engineering requirements in safety, quality, service, and productivity.
• Uses scientific methods and Lean principles, proactively identifies and offers improvement suggestions to manufacturing systems.
• Identifies equipment needs and/or process specifications; leads the implementation of these requirements into the production environment.
• Promotes safety in all manufacturing and operations processes.
• Acts as a technical liaison between operations and design engineering.
• Supports the culture of continuous improvement through Lean journey by assisting with the development/coaching of associates on Lean philosophies.
• Other duties as assigned
