Using Solidworks, Drafting Co-ops will primarily be responsible for producing new detail drawings. In this position, co-ops will assist with backlog management, issue identification and resolution, drawing revisions via change and customer orders, and daily team responsibilities.
 
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: 
  • Drafting detail drawings using Solidworks while conforming to Fisher and ASME Y14 series drafting standards.
  • Ensuring form, fit, and function of Fisher produced assembly drawings.
  • Create and maintain part numbers using Oracle.
  • Revising drawings to resolve issues and meet customer needs.
  • Communication across multiple departments, project teams, and world area groups.

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor's degree in Drafting, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Design or related engineering majors
  • For associate's degree students - Minimum 1 year drafting program
  • For bachelor's – sophomore standing or higher
  • 2.5 GPA minimum
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Strong mechanical and spatial aptitude
  • An interest in CAD software and 3D modeling tools
  • Comfortable with interacting with cross functional teams of all levels
