Summary of the Job:

First National Bank of Omaha – Summer 2026 Technology Internship

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) is seeking Technology Interns to join our team for Summer 2026 (May–August). This program is designed for students attending Nebraska universities who reside in the Omaha, NE area for the duration of the internship.

Are you a Nebraska college student eager to explore the world of technology while building real-world skills? As a Technology Intern at FNBO, you’ll gain hands-on experience in application development, infrastructure, and digital solutions. You will also contribute to our mission of delivering secure, seamless banking experiences.

About This Role:

What You’ll Do

  • Work side-by-side with experienced IT professionals on real projects that impact our customers.
  • Contribute as a member of an agile scrum team, collaborating with developers and engineers.
  • Apply programming practices and learn FNBO’s development standards.
  • Support ongoing modernization efforts and test process improvements.

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in learning programming concepts (prior experience a plus, but not required).
  • Ability to be onsite weekly and attend scheduled summer events.

Internship Details

  • Summer 2026 (May–August)
  • Onsite in Omaha, NE
  • Mentorship from IT leaders and networking with peers across the bank.

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
