In Spain, Thales Sistemas is specialized in Command and Control systems, Tactical Communications and Modeling and Simulation addressing solutions in the domain of Defense and Security. Thales is the Spanish leader in tactical Land CIS (Communication and Information Systems) covering all the product life cycle (design, development, production, ILS). Based in Leganés, Thales Sistemas employs a highly specialized workforce of more than 100 people, most of them engineers that participate in the following activities:
- Communications and Information Systems (CIS) to support Command function and Decision Making:
- Embedded electronics for military aircraft
- Tactical Communications
- Radio Navigation Aids for air traffic
As part of the Bids, Projects and Custormer Services team, you will participate as Project Manager Officer (PMO).
As a PMO Intern, you will:
- Support the continuous improvement and digital transformation of Bids & Projects department.
- Analyze the different activities, to propose and develop improvements that increase efficiency and improve project management activities.
Competences:
Technical/functional skills:
- Technical degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Data Mining, Industrial, Aeronautical or similar.
- Interest in new technologies, creative, analytical and innovative to propose new solutions from an external perspective.
- Technical process management knowledge.
- Project management
- High level of English (it will be mandatory to have at least B2 level of English).
Other (advantage):
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Intermediate level of French desirable.
Behavioural skills:
- Be organised, proactive and efficient.
- Ability to analyse proposals and evaluate impacts, and to interact with different people.
- Social skills to work in a team, ability to present your ideas in a clear, precise and concrete way and to convince of the goodness of the suggested proposals and to be able to adapt and improve them to optimise the results.

What does the Talent Programme consist of?
At Thales we believe that the new generations are the drivers of change and, for this reason, we have developed a one-year full-time internship programme that we will complement with a Master's degree in Productivity, Adaptive Management and Innovation through the Nebrija University (distance learning).
