We’re offering two exciting Co-op placements within our IT department: one with the Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Advisory team and one with the Quality Engineering team. These roles provide hands-on experience in cybersecurity and software engineering, and are ideal for students who are curious, driven, and eager to contribute to meaningful work.
This posting also serves as a pipeline for future roles in 2026. In your cover letter, please indicate:

Both roles are full-time for the duration of the term and will be posted internally and externally.
Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Advisory
Duration: 4 months
Location: Hybrid (Markham office preferred)
What you’ll do:
Respond and triage inquiries from team communication channels
Support security training and awareness initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders on business impact evaluations
Work with advisors in security engagement requests and risk evaluations
Support penetration testing coordination and remediation tracking
Assist in maintaining cybersecurity policies and standards
What you’ll bring:
Enrolled in a cybersecurity-related program
Strong interest in cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, IRAM2)
Familiarity with security concepts and technologies
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A curious mindset and eagerness to learn
What you’ll gain:
Real-world exposure to cybersecurity advisory and risk management
Experience with corporate security processes and frameworks
Insight into penetration testing and policy development
Collaboration with a cross-functional cybersecurity team
Quality Engineering
Duration: 8 months
Hiring Manager: Kashyap Patel (TBC)
Location: Hybrid (Markham office preferred)
What you’ll do:
Develop and maintain software applications and automation test frameworks
Collaborate with test engineers and participate in code reviews
Troubleshoot and debug software issues
Build and enhance automation for web, API, and data testing
Assist in requirements gathering and solution design
Contribute to documentation and defect triage meetings
What you’ll bring:
Enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, or related program
Basic knowledge of Java and/or Python
Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) and JIRA
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
A collaborative mindset and attention to detail
What you’ll gain:
Hands-on experience in software development and testing
Exposure to automation frameworks and agile methodologies
Opportunities to contribute to real-world tech projects
Mentorship and learning in a fast-paced engineering environment
