We are looking for an Field Device Management Sales Enablement Intern (Summer 2026) who is interested in gaining real-world experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment at our Round Rock, TX location.
As a Field Device Management Sales Enablement Intern, you will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of Emerson’s device divisions (MSOL, Fisher Valves, Electric Actuators, and others) Your focus will be on the smart capabilities of these devices and how they integrate with Emerson control systems such as DeltaV and Remote Automation (FP3000) with AMS Device Manager.
Understanding Emerson Reliability Solution technology, you will develop insight into how these integrations enable predictive monitoring within the process control industry, particularly through the use of advanced instrumentation and valve technologies.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Getting to know and assisting Field Device Management and understanding how Instrumentation and Valve predictive information to support Emerson Customers plant reliability
- Learn and understand Reliability Solution AMS Device Manager and all its features and functions to support Sales engagement.
- Support the setup and basic DeltaV configuration of Live Demo system and on the roadshow demo systems
- Networking redesigns and work with IT to allocate ports assignment for VPN and Thinfinity access to Emerson Impact Partner
- Help maintain and update documentation and knowledge information for Impact Partners and Customers for AMS Device Manager
- Sales Bootcamps training materials review and update
- Take part in customer visits

You are an innovative thinker who envisions new ways to apply technology to solve complex business problems. You are eager to gain hands-on experience in DeltaV control system, understand what HART communication protocol is and how it plays in a Digital Transformation in the process world, and you are a collaborative team player who can work effectively with subject matter experts and technology teams.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university entering either their Junior or Senior year.
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Previous experience with process control, smart Instrumentation, Internet of Things,
- Knowledge of Control systems such as DeltaV, PLC, etc.
- Experience in software development and deployment.
