We’relookingforcandidateswhohavedemonstratedsuccessthroughacademicandprofessionalachievementsineconomics,finance,orrelatedfieldssuchasaccounting,statistics,andcomputerscience.Individualsshouldenjoysolvinganalyticalandempiricalproblemsandhaveexceptionalcreativeandcriticalthinkingskills,aswellasexcellentoralandwrittencommunicationsskills.

Responsibilities:mayinclude:designingandbuildingquantitativemodelsandapplyingeconometricanalysistoeconomicandfinancialdata;valuationanalyses;reviewing,summarizing,andanalyzingindustrytrends;creatingtrialexhibitsandpresentationmaterials;writingcodeforcomplexdataanalysis;participatinginclientmeetings;anddraftingmemosandexpertreports.Thereislittletonotravelinvolvedwiththeposition.

ResearcherQualifications:NERAwelcomescandidateswithaBAoraBSinanymajor, or a Masters Degree, graduating by Summer 2026, to apply.Asaqualifiedcandidateyoushouldbeabletodemonstrateexceptionalanalyticalandcriticalthinkingskillsandmustbedetail-oriented,haveexceptionalcommunicationskills,andworkwellonteams.Strongcourseworkand/orexperienceinfinance,economics,accounting,statisticalanalysis/econometrics,andcomputerprogrammingarealldesirable.

The applicable base salary for this role is $90,000-$95,000  per year.

In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
