A day in a life of an Intern Product Development
During your internship, you will be working independently:
•    Organizing and executing small scale trials (kitchen or pilot plant)
•    Performing technical tastings to assess sensory attributes like taste, color, texture.
•    Preparing and executing physical and chemical analysis (e.g. texture, moisture, water activity, particle size distribution, flowability, density)
•    Conducting research on scientific papers, state of the art and patents
•    Establishing research reports and presenting to agreed stakeholders
•    Collecting raw material samples from suppliers and conducting ingredient selection based on business input 
 
Our Requirements
•    Currently enrolled in a Master´s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Engineering or similar 
•    An intrinsic enthusiasm for product development
•    Curious of understanding they why behind the what
•    Understanding of food products, powder behaviour based on origin/composition (sticking, flowing, dusting etc.)
•    Understanding of measurement systems and their performance indicators, sources of errors
•    Excellent analytical and practical capabilities
•    Fluency in English is mandatory (written and spoken), German is a plus
•    Structured working method, proactiveness, results orientation and very good communication skills

•    Internship salary: We pay the minimum wage for all mandatory and voluntary internships, above and beyond the legal requirements.
•    30 days of vacation: Breaks and time off are important. That's why all Nestlé employees have more vacation days than required by law.  
•    38 hours week
